May the trials, tribulations, bloodshed, and sacrifices of our foremothers/fathers be reflected in our deeds today.
What greater gift can we offer those who came before us than to honor their sacrifices by continuing on the good work and fighting the good fight to make the world a better place?
As entrepreneurs and business leaders, our vehicle to do so is innovation, commerce, job creation, courage and industriousness. If we were poets, we’d write of justice. If we were musicians, we’d sing of liberty. But we are entrepreneurs – our contribution is to bring vision to life, to create opportunity for our fellow women & men and to solve problems.
May we all take a moment of silence today to remember and honor those who have sacrificed for our benefit… the very reason we have the chance to do and become all that we were created for.
And then, in their honor, get to work.
